In early 2015, I was awarded a generous grant to realize an installation proposed for Transformus XII. The proposal outlined the engineering, fabrication/assembly and programming of an original system including motion and audio sensors for interactivity and large LED output display. If you're interested, you can learn about the specifics here (add link).
This installation was the first substantial collaborative effort spearheaded by Metatronic Mods. Asheville Metal Works was brought on to fabricate the steel enclosures and frame assembly. Programming specialist Rand Williams M.Sc. was instrumental in developing the interactive video content and writing a custom GLSL shader to overcome shortcomings with the display controller's firmware which threatened the project's success in the final days before the event.
